PIERRE VERGER'S PHOTOGRAPHY. Verger was a French photographer and ethnographer who spent years in Brazil and West Africa and became a priest of Yoruba religion. There are several sites on the Web devoted to his photography. Most have Portuguese text, but non-readers of Portuguese can easily navigate them.
